More power than a regular 2Kw starter, with just half the current draw. Comes with High-Energy Neodymium magnets, efficient windings and a 6:1 planetary gear reduction allowing an easier turn-over of high compression motors. Note: Fuel injected motors require a faster cranking speed than carbureted models. See 538421 (chrome) or 538422 (black) for the identical starter motor, suitable for fuel injected models. Note: Standard starters are 1.4kW. This 2.0kW starter may require a stronger battery to actually generate the power they are rated for.
