Stainless steel exhaust system with a brushed finish. Like all V&H systems, performance orientated to extract all available ponies from your engine. The long headers wrap around the cam chest cover and sweep upward to an oversized merge collector that feeds into a classic road race style muffler. The Supersport 2-into-1 sports a mid-length profile for the great stance on a performance bagger. Finished with full length header and collector heat shields to prevent visible blueing. – PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology – Chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge designed to increase torque – Mid-length profile 2-1 exhaust system – 304 stainless steel construction – Hand TIG welded collector heat shield and muffler – Classic racing badge and muffler exit. Vance & Hines innovative PCX™ Technology explained: More Power & Less Heat. The PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) Technology are factually chambered high-flow catalysts. Used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration off the line. They are positioned downstream for up to 20% less heat at the floorboards / foot pegs and 50% less heat at the collector, to optimize rider comfort over the stock system. PCX™ technology uses a high-flow double-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing an even deeper full-throated rumble, all with no compromise to the styling of any Vance & Hines exhaust system. Tech-Tip: Pre-2021 USA mufflers on a 2021-up EU Softail/Touring? 21-up US models, have just 2 O2 sensors in the headers. 21-up EU models (Euro 5 system) have total 3 or 4 O2 sensors, also 1 or 2 downstream in the muffler(s) or in the balance pipe of the cross-over section. Therefore 21-up US exhaust systems will not fit 21-up EU models. The FuelPak FP4 (part number 942227) allows you to disable the 2nd. downstream O2 sensor, without triggering trouble codes. This will enable you to use US or pre-2021 EU exhaust mufflers that are not equipped with a downstream O2 sensor connection. ’
