Way back, when the company was founded in 1937, National Cycle’s original name was ‘Nations Cycle’. This vintage windshield is a reproduction of the windshields that ‘Nations Cycle’ made during that time. The re-release of this windshield is authentic, complete with mounting hardware. The only difference is that the windshield is made from modern, virtually unbreakable, polycarbonate with the upper section treated with National Cycle’s exclusive Lexan® hard coating for superior scratch resistance. This polycarbonate windshield material is much stronger than the original Pyralin plastic, but still the beaded edge and the steel reinforcement ring is used for a period correct appearance. An absolute great windshield for period-perfect restorations.
