Language label D. Color red. Excellent low strength thread-locking adhesive for reliable thread locking up to M12. Can be used on oily surfaces and galvanised screws. Active materials generally refer to metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure rapid curing. Passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics cure very slow. – temperature range -60 to +150 °C – initial strength 2-15 min (active) 15-60 min (passive) – functional strength 4 to 6 hours – final strength 12 hours – thread friction value 0,15 – compressed shear strength 7 N/mm² DIN EN 15337 – Chemical resistance relatively well against oils, gasoline, antifreeze, water and brake fluid – Cures in the absence of air (anaerobic) – resistant to stresses and vibrations – can be used on oily surfaces – rapid curing – prevents leaks – wide operating temperature range – controlled torque/stress ratio – color red
