– Used to split the engine cases and easily break the sealer – Will split cases and also press the complete flywheel out of and into the right case on Timken bearing models – Some case pressing may require a hard cap. See 514024 for the optional hard cap to protect the sprocket shaft – This crankcase splitter is the only correct tool that will allow you to easily split the cases, without risk of damage, with a ratchet – Manufactured from 1/2″ thick A36 hot rolled steel – Installs to the primary side of the case. Note: See 514024 for the optional hard cap to protect the sprocket shaft. Note: For the 00-06 Softail engine this tool can be used for removing the flywheel from the left case only.
