Stock replacement for S&S carburetors with equipped the late ‘wire’ style needle design, as used in all S&S carburetors manufactured in 1983 and later. Note: Float will not fit pre-1983 carburetors with the early ‘forked’ style needle design. Note: See MCS 977828 for the late style ‘wire’ float bowl needle only, to retrofit this 940316 float to earlier pre-1983 carburetors.
