This Spyke 1.4 KW starter offer 46% more torque than stock starters, with a standard battery, due to the special gear reduction system. High KW starters have the drawback that they will require special batteries to actually provide the power they are capable of. The Spyke Starter has a much better clutch gear than the OEM starters, which are sometimes seen as failure prone.
