Friction plate set only. Specifically developed to handle the power and torque of High-Performance H-D M8 engines. This clutch set includes ‘G3’ friction plates (which incl. 6 friction plates and 3 jutter plates). G3 is a newly developed friction material that offers as good or better performance than the Alto Carbonite clutch material. It is formulated with graphitic carbon-based particles which is the most durable, consistent with improved shifting and reduced burn-out product to date for high horsepower and torque applications. In short, this is an excellent clutch plate set for stock to very high performance engines and a direct replacement for the OEM clutch plate set. Incl. 6 x 581908 friction (1.50″ /3.81mm thick) & 3 x 581909 friction jutter (0.151″/3.84mm thick) plates. Note: Compatible with OEM components and friction discs. A matching ‘Performance Steel’ Alto steel drive plate set can be ordered separately as 581911.

Steel drive plate set only. This ‘Performance Steel’ drive plate set is identical to the Alto ‘Kolene-steel’ drive plates, with the salt bath heat treated nitriding hardening process. But these Performance Steel plates are polished to achieve a lower RA controlled value surface, a smoother surface basically. This microscopically smoother surface reduces hot-spotting which helps reduce heat built-up and the occurrence of plate warpage. In short, this is an excellent clutch plate set for stock to very high performance engines and a direct replacement for the OEM clutch plate set. Incl. 5x 581912 (0.063″/1.6mm thick), 2 x 581913 (0.078″/1.98mm thick) and 1 x 581914 (0.079″/2.01mm thick) plates. Note: Compatible with OEM components and friction plates. A matching high performance Alto G3 Black friction plate kit can be ordered separately as 581910.

Friction & steel drive plate kit. Extra plate sets have been a favorite amongst high performance bike owners for years. With the same clutch spring pressure the additional plates create more surface area which increases clutch holding capacity, a quicker lock-up and improved heat absorption. The clutch friction plate set includes a ‘G3’ friction plates (incl. 6 friction plates and 3 jutter plates). G3 is a newly developed friction material that offers as good or better performance than the Alto Carbonite clutch material. It is formulated with graphitic carbon-based particles which is the most durable, consistent with improved shifting and reduced burn-out product to date for high horsepower and torque applications. Incl. 8 x 581916 (0.107/2.72mm friction), 3 x 581909 (0.151″/3.84mm) friction jutter plates and 9 x 581920 (0.056″/1.42mm thick) steel drive plates and 1 x 518914 (0.079″/2.01mm thick).
