Chain drive. 487 CAM – The 487 Reaper CHOP is a great allround camshaft for 4-1/2 stroke 114″ – 117″ when looking for an aggressive bolt-in. The 487 has that nasty CHOP idle sound while producing a wide powerband that the Feuling cams are known for. Responds very well to increased bore and or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner. Use of performance valve-springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother running valve-train, like Feuling 993530 or 588021. Intake: .478 Valve Lift, 20.5 Open, 37 Close, 237 Duration @ 50″, .180 lift @ TDC, 98.5 Lobe Centerline. Exhaust: .487 Valve Lift, 44 Open, 17.5 Close, 241.5 Duration @ 50″, .146 lift @ TDC, 103.25 Lobe Centerline. Reaper EVO 574 cam requires performance valve springs, like Feuling 566032, 707562 or 566034. Performance lifters recommended but not required. Will work with factory pushrods on engines with factory height, if deck height, cylinders or rocker boxes have been modified from stock then adjustable pushrods are required, as Feuling 566073, 566070 or 707315. Compatible with a stock engine but increased compression, cylinder head work and performance exhaust will make this cam come alive. Increased compression is required for bottom end performance. This Feuling M8 camshaft kit includes chain drive camshaft, HP+ lifters and a cam installation kit that includes cam bearing, cam/crank hardware and a gasket/O-ring kit that allows for install of the factory one-piece pushrods. Feuling recommends the optional 993528 Feuling one-piece heavy duty HP+ pushrod kit, with 0.165″ wall thickness. Feuling recommends rocker box fastener kit 707450 to help prevent cylinder head cracking, this kit replaces the rocker shaft bolts with studs and nuts to help reduce the stress on the rocker shaft standoffs. 472 CAM – The 472 Reaper is a great allround camshaft for 4-1/2 stroke 114″ – 117″ looking for a little more than our 465 grind and wanting a bolt-in. The 472 has a great bottom end with substantial gains above 2,900 RPM when compared to stock. Responds very well to increased bore and or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner.
