.508″ intake valve lift, .511″ exhaust valve lift. – Intake open/close: 20.5/37 – Exhaust open/close: 44/17.5 – Duration in/ex: 237/241.5 – Valve lift in/ex: .508″/.511″ – Valve lift TDC: .180″/.98.5″ – Overlap 38. Bolt-in but requires high lift springs. RPM range 2.250-5.900. Aggressive pulling power with a nasty sound. This camshaft revs up faster than the 521 grind, sounds nastier and pulls harder but is more difficult to tune. This Reaper 508 grind will shine in 114 and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio. Ported cylinder heads are not required but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent powerband and use of a high flow throttle body will increase peak power numbers. A high flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimal performance. Note: Requires high lift on stock cylinder heads. Note: Compatible with SE heads since these are equipped with high lift springs as standard. Note: Cam specs measured in the engine on the lifter @ 0.050 using the standard 1.61 rocker arm ratio.

Requires high lift springs. RPM range 2.250-6.250 Requires high-lift springs. The hotter version of the 508 for high RPM horsepower numbers. Nasty sound and aggressive pulling for 114+ inch motors with higher compression ratio. Works with stock throttle body but larger diameter produces higher peak power numbers. Okay with stock heads but works well well with ported heads. Heavy duty one-piece pushrods are recommended. Free breathing slip-on mufflers / exhaust and air cleaner are recommended for best results.
