DNA filtering media is made up of 4 layers of an oil impregnated ‘nafta’, surgical-quality cotton gauze, specially developed by DNA’s in-house R&D team. The cotton gauze is then sandwiched between 2 layers of Epoxy coated, Marine Grade aluminum wire mesh before being robotically pleated to DNA’s unique ‘large pleat edge radius’ patterns. The result is an extremely high-flow filter (98% efficiency) which exceeds any of today’s motorcycle needs. It offers increased potential performance, efficiency and drivability, combined with long-lasting durability.

‘The Red Filter’. As used in Formula 1, Le Mans, Moto GP and World Superbike. Designed as an direct replacement, no hassle fit, upgrade for the OEM paper air filters. Manufactured with a metallic mesh which contains multiple cotton layers of oiled filtration material. This allows improved air flow, sufficient for stock to all-out performance applications. To further help prevent small impurities enter the engine filtration oil is used to create a ‘sticky’ barrier which allows air flow but helps retains small particles up to 7 micron. All filters are precision made and continuously checked during production for the highest obtainable quality. Filters are washable and reuseable. EU made.

.040″ thick MLS (Multi Layer Steel). MLS consists of a top and bottom layer of embossed stainless steel with both side coated with 250°C high temperature polymer rubber layer. The inner ring(s) are also stainless steel. The gasket layers are rivited together, outside the gasket surface, for ease of installation. The outer layers are embossed and both sides coated with a 250°C resitant polymer rubber layer. MLS head gaskets eliminate the use of any dowel pin o-rings. Standard 3-1/2″ bore. OEM replacement reference 16771-08.
