Used to restore damaged internal and external threads. Special threaded restoring taps and dies ensure a good result and are safer in restoring threads than using regular thread cutting taps and dies. Regular cutters are sharper and can easily damage existing thread. USA made. Note: Not suitable for cutting new threads. 15-piece Metric restore kit. Contains taps & dies in sizes: M6x1, M8x1.25, M10x1.25, M10x1.50, M12x1.25, M12x1.50 and M12x1.75 & 1x Metric restorer file (8 sizes).
